Ashley Hunter, better known by her artist name Phoenix, is a facilitator of embodied freedom, retreat leader, musician and builder of conscious communities. With a unique combination of movement, music, embodiment practices and authentic connection, she creates transformative spaces in which people are invited to reconnect with their true nature and express themselves more freely.
Drawing on her background in coaching around love, sexuality, relationships and conscious dating, Phoenix guides people in exploring self-confidence, desire, intimacy, authenticity and freedom from limiting societal conditioning. Her work is rooted in the belief that true transformation happens when we allow ourselves to be fully present, dare to be vulnerable and are deeply connected to our body and our feelings.
Whether she is facilitating workshops, ecstatic dance, teaching yoga, leading communal singing or hosting multi-day retreats, Phoenix brings an inspiring blend of warmth, playfulness, wisdom and vitality. Her approach invites participants to let go of perfectionism and self-criticism and make space for spontaneity, creativity, self-expression and genuine human connection.
As a travelling artist and retreat leader, Phoenix weaves voice, movement, presence and celebration into experiences that inspire people to embrace life more fully. Her work encourages participants to listen more deeply, trust their inner compass and reconnect with the freedom, joy and life force already present within them.
During the festival, Phoenix brings her full presence, infectious enthusiasm and love for conscious connection. Through song, movement, play, dance and authentic encounter, she invites participants to co-create a space where self-expression, togetherness and the celebration of life take centre stage.
For Phoenix, personal growth is not about becoming someone else, but about remembering who we truly are beneath all the layers of conditioning, expectations and fear.
